Available Spaces
Nestled atop the hill with valley views, Tanglewood is a beautiful place to have your next event. Enjoy the backdrop of wildflower meadows, charming ponds, and gorgeous forest! We are located in the scenic southern Finger Lakes region of NY.
Auditorium
The largest room in our Nature Center, is our spacious auditorium, complete with cozy fireplace and everything necessary for showing videos or giving presentations. This space works great for both birthday parties and corporate groups.
The Morell Lodge
An educational and rental space with a beautiful post-and-beam frame and a large deck leading out to the fields. This is a popular choice for family events and club meetings.
Picnic Pavilion
This outdoor space located right next to the Teaching Pond is perfect for summer BBQs, graduations, or other family gatherings!

Booking Information
Membership must be active on the date of the party. Full payment is required within 7 days of scheduling to secure your reservation. If payment is not made, you forfeit your spot.
50% of event fees are refundable if cancellation occurs at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date, no refunds thereafter. Membership fees are nonrefundable.
Children’s Birthday Parties Include:
A total of three hours in the auditorium, 1/2 of the lodge, or pavilion with tables and chairs. Your choice of a 20-30 minute educational program with three animals of your choice. Unfortunately, we do not allow any bounce houses, balloons (includes balloon arches), confetti, glitter, or hay in our buildings. This policy is strictly enforced.
Birthday Party Availability
Saturdays only – Saturday bookings tend to fill up quickly, so please book well in advance. The lodge is not available for birthday parties during the summer camp season.
Party times are: 10:30am – 12:30pm OR 1:30pm – 3:30pm. You get 30 minutes before and after for setup and clean up.
*If our area has a winter weather advisory or warning for the day of your scheduled party, your party will be rescheduled or canceled by noon the day before. If we cannot reschedule, you will receive a full refund. If for any reason we are without power and/or running water, your party will be rescheduled or canceled as soon as we become aware of the problem. You will receive a full refund if we have to cancel.
Party Pricing
$100 Members
$160 Non-Members (includes 1 yr. membership)
*Additional time available at $50 per hour. Party fees include 10 children and unlimited adults. There is a $2 fee for each extra child three and up.
Party Animals
The birthday child gets to pick out three animals to meet up close and personal! Choose from the following: owl, hawk, gecko, frog, toad, turtle, snake, guinea pig, ferret, chinchilla, bunny, bearded dragon, scorpion, or cockroach. Animal availability is subject to change. We recommend choosing at least one animal your child can pet – the birds, scorpions, and amphibians cannot be touched. Bernice, our tortoise, cannot make appearances at the party due to her size.
