Located in Tanglewood Nature Center’s big backyard, this immersive pathway will feature safe, ADA-accessible wooden trails that gently rise from the forest floor into the upper reaches of the trees. As you ascend with the path, you’ll encounter observation decks of various sizes and heights, perfect for pausing to take in the breathtaking views. At its pinnacle, a multi-level platform will soar above the tree line, offering a truly panoramic experience opening up on both the surrounding mountains and meadows as well as the forest below.
Once built, the Tanglewood Treetop Walkway will be a destination for locals and visitors alike, drawing nature enthusiasts and adventurers to Chemung County.
