Birds of a Feather Raptor Program

  • 15 Sep 2018
  • 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Tanglewood Nature Center

How are birds adapted for life in the air? What makes an owl's flight so silent, and how good exactly is their night vision? Who are the avian ambassadors at Tanglewood, and why do they live with us? How do we train a bird to fly for exercise or sit on the glove in front of an audience?

It's anything and everything AVIAN at this program! Join Brie, Curator of Animals and Exhibits, in the auditorium for a celebration of birds. Examine an owl skull and feel the difference between waterfowl feathers and falcon feathers.

This is a FREE program, open to the public, all ages welcome and no registration needed!
