Do you have a to-do list a mile long? Do you set goals and then stress at deadlines? Do you feel the need to win or compete in life? Come to the meditation walk and learn about the rejuvenating effects of putting your goals on hold, and just simply being. All ages, all experience levels. Mindfulness and fresh air are good for the soul. Take a mental journey using your breath and visualization with our naturalist Ian. This is not an intro course on meditation, and no previous experience is required.
We will meet inside the nature center, and then hike as a group up to the Green Trail. Bring a mat or blanket to sit on the ground. We will meditate for 20-30 min. and then descend back to the nature center trying to keep quiet and take in nature through our new lens. Total program length = 60 min. Bring sunglasses and water please.
